1. What we collect

• Your account details — name and email address, handled through our authentication provider.
• What you give us to work with — your resume, your LinkedIn profile, target roles, career history, and anything else you enter during onboarding or submit for analysis.
• Your purchases — what you bought and when. Payment card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or hold your full card number.
• Basic usage data — pages visited and general site activity, in aggregate.

2. What we do with it

We use your information to deliver what you purchased, support you afterwards, and run the business — that means producing your documents, handling revisions, keeping your history available in your dashboard, answering your questions, and sending you email about your order.

We keep what you give us for as long as your account is open. We need your resume and career details to write your documents, to revise them under your revision guarantee, and to show your past work in your dashboard. If we deleted it, we couldn’t do those things.

3. What we don't do

• We don’t sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to recruiters, not to anyone.
• We don’t let AI providers train on your content. We use business API access, which excludes your data from model training.
• We don’t post, publish, or share your materials with employers, recruiters, or anyone else unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make CareerEVATE work, and only so they can do their job for us:

• Authentication and account management
• Payment processing (Stripe)
• Database and application hosting
• Email delivery
• AI processing providers, who analyze and draft document content

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

5. Seeing, changing, or deleting your information

Email us at info@careerevate.com and we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We’ll confirm it’s really you first, and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Deleting your information means we can no longer deliver documents, honor revisions, or restore your history. Some records — payment and tax records in particular — we’re required to keep by law.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to keep you signed in. We use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics to understand general site traffic. We don’t run advertising trackers.

Because we don’t track you across other websites, we don’t respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

7. Security, and where we operate

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee against every risk.

CareerEVATE is based in the United States and our services are intended for people in the United States. Your information is stored and processed here.

Our Service isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes, and how to reach us

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll email you.
